makes sense. just didnt expect a 'rebuild' to be so much different from a single disc.

Luckily I got a QM TD w/ 1k miles on it for $600 in perfectly good condition. hopefully i wont be needing a rebuild anytime soon.

you should get some revised test units of a lighter assembly on some cars making power and going to the track often and see if the revised unit(s) diminishes the complaints about gear lockout/shift problems at high rpm.

The Cust. Service is there...just should touch up on the product some, and then the consumers will have a complete package..

Since this issue is found on a limited number of units (3 now is my count) this truly isn't widespread. I have one of these units coming back for further assessment and testing (E85's clutch).
