Son, there is more to life than what one finds in Rhode Island:

Amstel beer on the left, Amstel Bock on the right. Photo taken at a nearby pub today.

And oh yeah, lots of interesting, expensive experimentation evident in this discussion!

Boring.

We already went over this. Can you not comprehend they are an engine building facility and not a race team?

That said,

Extreme Tuners, while the custom turbo is no doubt sick as hell, I'm curios if you have tried running staged turbochargers with inter stage charge cooling?

Pushing a turbo to nearly an 8:1 compression ratio is insane, you could pick up considerable efficiency using staged compression/cooling and reduce exhaust energy use by a considerable amount. Of course, it would pack on considerable weight, but hell, many pro cars have to pack ballast to meet minimum weight anyway.

There is a reason why they desing it to be light weight and use ballast, but im sure that you already know why they do it like that..

I am interested in hearing your gains with a Titanium wheel instead of Billet. What type of spool differences did you see, and any power increases at specific boost levels?

Thanks,

-Will

And did you bother watching the vid? They weren't running on a NHRA prepped track like you were. This isn't your thread so stop bragging about your accomplishments.

hahaha agreed. this entire thread is stupid. ams racecar, awdmotorsports car, Rau's car, sheps 1g blah blah etc etc could throw the biggest turbo they could find on they're setups and make 2000hp but with no useable power band its a complete waste besides on a piece of paper...my .02

^I disagree. their car obviously has the potential to be really quick but thats not what there focusing on. If he directed more of his resources to building a drag car I think we'd be seeing this in the drag racing section with quicker times. Nonetheless, still are good times for a crappy track.

Side note, there cars in the mile would be even more impressive
