Another 400 whp stock turbo Evo joins the E85 Army

One of the Socal guys came up this weekend to get retuned for some small mod changes

2006 Evo 9 GSR

Mods:

Mil.Spec Ported IX Turbo
Mil.Spec Ported Intake Manifold
Mil.Spec Ported TB
Mil.Spec Ported Invidia O2 Housing
Mil.Spec Ported Exhaust Manifold
Cosworth M2 In/Ex Cams
Aem Intake w/ OEM Intake Snorkel
Arp Headstuds
FP 18psi WGA
RC1000cc Injectors
Walbro Fuel Pump
Megan Racing Downpipe
RRE Rally Cat
RRE Stealth Exhaust
Nisei Competition 3.75" Intercooler
Nisei Licp
Tephra V5
E85

Only mods that changed for this retune where:

WGA
Crushed OEM bov
Ported OEM exh manifold

Same boost as before. 28.5 psi peak

+20 whp / +15 wtq

Another 400whp stock turbo Evo joins the E85 Army.

For reference:

Highest power on a Evo 9 stock turbo so far on our dyno is 403 whp / 402wtq (E85). This had the car doing a 11.4@120 mph, full weight, street tires, 300lb driver.

320-330whp will do 11.9-12.0 @ 115ish with a really good driver, full weight Evo.

Stock 03/04 evo = 190-210whp

Stock 05 evo = 210-215whp

Stock 06 evo = 220-230whp

Stock 08 evo = 215-230whp

Stock 09 Ralliart = 190-199whp

that's a lot of whp for a stock ix turbo. Should be around 450whp on dynojet. About the same power as mine fpred VIII. Congrats

it was a PPI "Extreme Ported" stock exhaust manifold until Mil.spec changed that and REALLY ported it
