Is anyone running an HX-40/HX-35 hybrid on an Evo? The topend should be a lot better.

Should hold up fine. The tune is safe.

I doubt. I searched and searched and searched and found just about next to nothing with Evo guys running a Holset.

Bone stock block and head minus the HKS 272s and ARP headstuds. Oil pan has never been off and head has never been lifted off the block.

Why??? The tq is really low, so its pretty safe even for the stock motor.

Were you looking for a turbo that was going to be more kind to the block? A red would have been a good choice also because of the torque and would have held the power similar to this turbo imo. Spool time would have been much improved. Good numbers though.

My original plan was to go with a 6262 (which I'm doing over winter), my friend had this laying around so I figured I'd give it a shot. Fp red would be cool, just got done with the FP green, but really wanted to go with the t3 route. I don't mind the spool as the car is built for drag racing.

About 30lbs by 5000ish which is perfect for me, car doesn't see anything under 5.5k at the track.

Good job! Awesome to see a few more Evo guys rockin' these fantastic turbos. They are definitely a great bang for the buck setup, I love my HE351CW at 30psi.
