I figured I could comment on my reverse problem above. The Short Route UICP from ETS was resting against the top of the transmission. This is not good for the 6spd tranny. There is an arm on the top of the transmission that needs to move toward the front of the car when going into reverse (and 2nd, 4th and 6th). This arm would hit the upper inter cooler pipe and it wouldn't allow a full "throw" for the gears to mesh properly and it would fall out of reverse. At least one problem is solved.
Instead of dumping more $$$ into this and basically being underpowered again what are some tests I can do before spending more money on guesswork?
So far I'm planning on a boost leak and compression test. If there are any others I'd love to hear them as I'd like to do it all and make sure the car itself is not the problem. Thanks!

This project "Operation Fail" has officially come to an end June 2nd 2011 when the engine went **** up on me. RIP! Eva will be getting a different heart and a new thread in this section with updates, but it's going to be some time.
