FP HTA Green 440 whp / 370 wtq @ 30psi on stock motor
Well all I can say is WOW ....I am right about 440 whp (Dynojet) with a stock motor - stock block, stock head, stock cams, factory head studs, etc. My modifications are in my signature - basics (ETS FMIC, Labonte Meth, Perrin) and an FP HTA Green (84mm cover).
I am still in the process of tuning the car - adding timing and playing with fuel, but I doubt I will gain anything significant maybe 5+ whp. The two runs are basically the same boost (my DV is leaking) but different AFRs - with little difference in power.
The car feels AMAZING and is exactly what I was hoping for. The HTA Green is super responsive and as you can see from the graph it keeps pulling. If I had a garret FMIC and cams, I am sure I could be close to 475 whp or more. Robert Young / FP - THANKS FOR AN AWESOME TURBO ....
UPDATE 11/28/2010 -
Updated numbers - changed timing slightly....car is still a bit too rich in spool up area (3300 - 4500 rpm) and I need to adjust the 12psi WGA (LOL) or put on an 18 psi WGA I have (yes I am lazy)....I know if I had cams I would be REALLY close to 500 whp . Not bad given how basic the car is. (See post #66 on page 5 for the most recent dyno data.)
Current numbers - 447 whp & 391 ft-lbs
Fun factor = 10

Chris - I am running 91 octane + m5 jet (50 % water & 50% meth) which probably equates to something more like 93 + ... I can run a formula and figure it out exactly...Regardless the HTA Green rocks . Can you imagine if I had cams and some other tidbits .

I know I could be close to 500 whp if I was running cams, had ported TB and IM, and a better FMIC, but then I'd probably be looking at a blown motor ... (I do love the looks of the CBRD FMIC - the end tanks and fitment are great.)
I am actually almost exactly where I wanted to be (goal was 450 whp and ~375 ft-lbs) and I have no knock and great failsafes (V7 and Zeitronix). I will probably build the motor some day and will definitely be close to 500 whp then....

Yeah on my stock 9 turbo I ran 100% meth for awhile...I did not see a huge difference with the stock 9 turbo and 100 % meth vs. 50/50%, so I just stayed with 50% to save $$ .

Thats and impressive turbo, I got chance to ride in prccoevo car and that turbo rocks, it pulls hard all the way to redline. Not to start a war but what do you think about the spool comparing to the bbk full, is there really a difference in your opinion?
