I thought I've read from a lot of people the S2 TB's were garbage?? Maybe it was just a lot of personal opinions. But I would personally like to see the ported stock TB vs. the S2 TB on the S2 intake mani... just for giggles.. and to save $$ lol

Looks good... almost stock like which is good.

My Magnus V5 looks much bigger, which doesnt help the stock look.

I figured that was the case, i dont understand why everyone wants Dynojet numbers though.

If you want to have big "so-called" impressive numbers, buy a dynojet.

Your DJ bashing is getting quite old. WHO CARES WHICH DYNO THIS WAS DONE ON AS LONG AS THEY WERE ON THE SAME DYNO WITH SAME CF THE TEST IS ACCURATE!

Emery,

Can you offer up your Skunk2 ported pictures? I read that there was some work to be done cleaning it up.

Thanks.

All of my test results and pictures can be found here.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...h-style-7.html

So far I am not a fan. There is some more work that can be done to the manifold to make it better but at this point I am losing interest really fast. We bolted it on and the AFR went rich so I am gonna say it doesn't work. I may do a little more work to it and see what I can get out of it for peak numbers but the back to back test with this one is over and the Buschur ported manifold wins in my eyes.

Dave is talking with skunk about it now to see if we can have a few changes made to these for us and we may try it again.

Why do you think its bad because of that information? All that is stated, is that, in their experience it wasn't better than what they had before. It's still shown itself to be better than stock.

Cost wise vs stock ported! Not worth it! IMO! Nice test though!

It is only better than stock with about 4 hours worth of work to make it work. Also, You need to know that a stock Throttle body will NOT seal to this and stay sealed. This thing has so many boost leaks its not even funny. The top vacuum port barbs fly out of the manifold with a lot of boost too. The have gooped them up really good to solve the issue for the time being but the right way to fix those is to tap the ports for a NPT fitting. Also needs to be ground down for the TB to open all the way. I am sure I am missing more issues but I really don't want to comment on them. If anyone is interested in the one we used to test shoot me a PM as Its for sale.

They aren't different results, one was comparing it to a stock unported manifold and the other to a BR ported manifold. It is pretty sad that Emery had to port this manifold just to get the same results as a stock manifold that is ported...
