That is the JDM Cyclone intake manifold. As far as the whining when I was in the car I didn't notice any whining than normal. Hell, I haven't been in a car with a standard Walbro that whined bad enough to notice, my EVO sure didn't.

You guys should put your interiors back in your race cars haha.

P.S. More info coming soon!

Guys,

This pump is quiet. The Walbro uses a G-Rotor style pump to move the fuel, where as our new DW300 uses a turbine style pump. I have one installed in my Miata (fuel tank is directly behind my right shoulder), and I cannot hear the pump.

Thanks again MA Performance for letting us use Kyle's beater as a tester.

...lol, a 620awhp beater? Must be nice. :P

We can get these too, we are a DW dealer but I want to point something out for those of you with double pumpers or on the fence about needing a double pumper etc. This is based on flow rates/facts, not a sale pitch, just don't want anyone to be confused.

Also, math owns me typically, so if someone wants to check me on this I am fine with that, just don't nit pick it, I think what I figured out is CLOSE.

This pumps is listed in Liter/hour and I had to kind of guess where the chart lines up with the Y axis.

I took the 60, 80 and 100 psi flow from this pump and compared it to our modded Walbro that is used in all of our double pumpers.

DW Pump

60 psi 76.20 Gallons/hour
80 psi 65.94 Gallon/hour
100 psi 42.12 Gallon/hour

BR Modded Walbro pump

60 psi 73.66 Gallon/hour
80 psi 65.83 Gallon/hour
100 psi 56.50 Gallon/hour

So you can not expect to use just a single pump to make huge power on E85. I believe we've made around 530 on our single modded Walbro. This car did about 600 if I remember right from the first page, figuring a 13% drop from Dynojet to our dyno that puts it about 522. I don't remember what injector we had in for the 530'ish whp, probably at the largest a 1200 back when we did that.

Also, this particular DW pump will not fit into the BR double pumper because of the sock/filter that goes on the bottom of the pump.

Not high jacking, just providing information based on some comments made.

Thank you.

DW has done extensive testing on this pump in regards to longevity, thus their lucrative warranty

Dave, I would think 2 of these in your double pumper frame would work even better if you needed that much fuel. I know how well the double pumper works as is and prefer to sell it over our own double pumper kit because of ease of install. If you needed that much extra and didnt want to go to a big single it seems like these a twin would work well.

John Bradley, at 40 psi of boost pressure/80 psi of fuel pressure, if you take a look at what I posted, they flow the same thing. Also, as I said, they won't work in our double pumper because of the sock/filter orientation. There would be no benefit, they have the same flow.

Thank you for the kind words on our double pumpers. Anytime you need more just call.

Even if it doesn't flow that much more, it would still be nice for those with double pumpers to have a much quieter setup.

I would like to know how much power this pump could support on pump/q16. 650wheel? 700 wheel?

Sorry Dave, I looked at it but it didnt sink in. In one eye and richocheted for awhile and didnt make a dent

So your number comparison is double pumper with modded pumps or a single modded pump compared to this DW300?

thanks

Without a doubt, people have made over 600+ on a single 255. I would imagine 650-700whp shouldn't be a problem

Im sitting around 525whp with a single 255 and 1000cc injectors with a little more room to go just on 93 pump gas
