Evo 9 MR + FP green hta + 93oct

Heres another fp green hta i did on 93 from a different country yesturday

Boost: 24psi and falling off uptop quite a bit according to owner.
fuel: 93octane

The only mods this car has are;

fp green hta /w 18psi wga (untouched preload tension)
fp intake + k&n filter
gsc s1
ported exhaust manifold
megan o2 housing
3" TBE
Walbro 255
pte 1000cc
AMS fmic with lower pipe
gizzmo boost controller

All runs were done in 3rd gear. The car still has the stock uncrushed bov, (which was leaking) and stock everything else..

I was told to keep the car conservative, so i didnt push it. tried 15* uptop, but had inconsistent knock, so decided to leave it at 14. AFR was mid 11 on customers request. Full boost around 3500-3600.

Car came to me with 260whp, so id say its up power quite a bit.

technical info; (had to use load calc due to crappy support for the 8884* rom. was also v5 small maps.

so he/she didnt do a boost leak test before the tune to determine that the stock crushed metal bov was leaking? must have been tough to tune with a boost leak i would think ( i am not a tuner though ). good power increase though if he had all those mods before the tune and you got he/she 140whp

you know im not sure if he did or not, all i know is he said it was falling off a lot at redline on his boost gauge.

someone had the stock maps crippled on this car.. its not uncommon to see on evos in different countries.

it wasn't to hard to tune, took about 3 hours in total after everything was said and done.

customer was very pleased. possibly the GSC s1 are no good for the mivec evo 9 head.. i figured it was gonna make about 420 but no go.

Nice work. You don't wanna see my timing. Haha
Like you said every car is different. I couldn't just flash my old tune to my new car even thou they have very similar mods.

interesting thx for sharing
got a close spec car S1 and greenhta running 24 @3500 to 21@7500 psi and less timing

in the winter had up to 409hp dynojet hp with very low temps and no knock but with spring can't get more than 370-380 and have knock above 5500 whatever i do...

under 5500 I'm basically the same torqu/hp and above that I'm well 20hp/20tq under

trying to fix this and get a curve as nice as this one..will post curves and specs later, im injured and cant drive my car to do vdr for a few days
