Our brg system and their brg system, other than that the same. Owen Dev. are sharp people and an FP partner, they do things as right as they can, and service some pretty damned high-end stuff in the UK and Europe. They have the contracts for the spec turbos in I think F2 or 3 and sedans, besides normal everyday race stuff, are an official Garrett repair center, they are the real deal.

ya they were very professional to deal with. the owner was very knowledgeable.. as much as Robert i think, which says a lot. I think they are both going to perform the same, minus your wastegate is going to be better preloaded to max the full potential out of the turbo.

The Owen WGA is a bit on the conservative side. It does not allow anymore then 31-32psi maximum to be held out the top end half of the powerband. from the testing ive done, 34-35 yields the maximum gains in my specific car on a black.

you seen all the results ive put out on this forum.. i dont need to prove myself to anyone. i had 3 cars at the shootout that ran low/mid 10's on stock ecu with under 600whp.

Thats impressive, care to share who your customers are?

On a side note you mention that you dont need to prove yourself to anyone. Well you dont need to, but it would of been better for your employer and prospective customers if your setup was close to what the imaginary dyno program says it is. I told you those programs lie

The track is the ultimate piece of humble pie and it looks like you gagged on it a little...

if you want to judge somebody's vehicle power based on the first pass down the track they ever made in their life then by all means be my guest. to me that sounds absolutely ridiculous though.

------

on another note: transmission was pulled last night, wedge collar (retainer clip) was in multiple pieces.. it pretty much exploded. clutch condition still looks great, however i already have an exedy triple hd replacing it for now but holding onto the twin hd incase i want to go back to it for a later time.

as for the other cars, search and you shall see.. otherwise i really dont care at this point. take care.

I ran like poo the first time at the track too , i went from running mid-low 13s in a nearly stock STI to holding the then world record on the stock turbo BLAH BLAH BLAH in the low 12s my second time .

Im sure with practice and getting his setup a little more suited for the strip he will have much better results.

VD numbers have been backed up time and again go stir a pot elsewhere.

as much as you post on here you should expect some negitive comments, some people tend to get a little pissed seing al these large numbers thrown around and when all the numbers come together its like a charlie chan mystry. imo et. tells about the driver and the mph tells about power. did you ever see an old sienfeld where jerry buys an expensive tennis racket from the guy in the pro shop and then happens to see him play!!

you need to get that beast back together and get to the track and shut us all up. i have'nt seen that many excuses since watergate

and one last thing, get together with badev0 looks like he could give you some pointers. very nice results.

sorry but what excuses did i make? the only thing i ever said was:

1. i forgot to remove 24 gallons of e85 from my trunk before i ran
2. it was the first time down the drag strip for me ever in any vehicle. (maybe listed the stuff i did during run)

so i said 2 things?...................... btw dynojet numbers will be posted in this thread with direct virtual dyno comparisons to again show its dead on, then will visit track again that way no one can debate what the cars really making.

Also I agree. Scott would be able to teach me a lot.. hes a very good driver.

its all good man, i mean no harm, its just that when numbers come out everyone grabs the calc and starts figuring and if the numbers are off than that gray area sets in, thats why its nice when you do it as you describe above, then theres no question about it. thats why you should weigh it at the track if possible. good luck at the track, you gotta drive it like theres no tomorrow! we'll be waiting for results.

p.s. tire pressure

no problem, i agree also. tire pressure was 24psi / bridgestone potenza re11.

next time i go i will get it weight. i have a junkyard near me also that might have a car weight if it does ill get it weighed there. with me in it i think its about 3400 or so. i dont have any weight reduction mods yet. the cars just a gsr no sunroof, no leather, and etc.

I agree, there is no way to judge the power level of your car by your first time making 1/4 mile passes at the track. I'm sure that the VD power level for your car will closely match a Dynojet. After having worked with you on my tune, and reviewing the results that you have achieved on other Evo's, I am sure that your car is tuned to perfection.
