Keith's LR2.4

Some might remember that the JMFab O2 dump thread started with our testing it out on Keith's LR2.4 we did for him over the winter. The car had all the normal stuff we do, 9:1 R&R/Wiseco 2.4 with a Bushmaster head and S3s.

Previously it had done 542 out of fuel at only 22psi. We added a Buschur double pumper so there would be no doubt that the 1450s would be happy and went at it this afternoon.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...p-results.html

Low boost for the road course and high boost for drag racing this car should do really well whatever Keith chooses to do with it-

I had one other pull that made more but ran into some backpressure issues and had to abort. Since it was over 7,000 I didnt feel too bad since it really shows that the car has more left in it-

Here is a boost plot with 24.8psi in there to show this combo is making very good power per pound-

I have finally gotten off the program of leaving cam gears straight up and decided to play with it. Retarding the cams just a little really seemed to wake this car up and improved idle as well. Not that I was surprised about the idle, but just 1.5* extra retard in the cam timing made a fairly large difference up top without hurting spool.

Keiths is a fp black right Aaron? **** i really need to get either a magnus v5 or a AMS F1i. his car got like 40-50hp over me at the same boost. i know my intake manifold is no good for a stroker. that and the cams.. between the cams + intake mani + dump, that car kicks mines ***. and i also need to get off maf soon here too. 640hp @ 30psi is kicking ***. very efficient setup.

Huge thanks to English Racing! You really can't say enough good things about these guys. Luke for coming to get my car, and Aaron for his tuning. Great work guys!

Yes, the car is still on the old school Black.

Thanks guys

Motor size, the headwork, cam choice, and intake all play a vital role in making this work together. The interesting thing is that my car on the 3586 and 3794 makes the same power at 20psi as Keiths. Thats a very good sign that this is all working together.
