398whp Stock Turbo Evo 9 on Pump Gas

Just recently tuned and had some fun with Dave's Evo 9 MR. Instead of upgrading the turbo right away like a lot of customers want to do, I was able to convince Dave to take care of some supporting mods first. He recently came in for some work and we installed:

Map Rev3 intake manifold and Full Blown TB
Quarter Master 8 Leg "Street" clutch
AMS lightweight front cross member
AMS rear mustache bar elimination kit
JMF intake
Custom Boostin Performance Reflash on 93 oct

The Full Blown TB's are great, we leak tested it to 30 psi without any boost leaks. Even more importantly it functions perfectly, just like the stock TB. I also love these new QM 8 leg clutches. With the street version it comes with a heavier flywheel then the race version, but the engagement is very smooth for a twin disc, and comfortable enough to daily drive.

Mod List:
Kelford Evo 9 272 Cams
Beehive Valve Springs
MAP REV 3 Manifold
Full Blown 70mm TB
Quarter Master 8 Leg "Street" clutch
JMF Intake With MAF Adapter
AMS Intercooler
AMS IC Pipes
AMS 3" Turbo back Exhaust

It was on 93 oct, and the car hits a peak of 25 psi.

Dang that's some great power on a IX turbo/pump gas combo. Did your customer ever consider a JMF O2 dump? I feel like that would send him over the 400whp mark with flying colors.

This graph makes me happy, as I'll be running a IX turbo on my 2.4L with full supporting mods.

Nice work!

Nice work!
And we've discussed upgrading the O2 with him, and he's planning on doing that O2 soon
G/L with your build.
