Yep I have a larger inter cooler with bushcur lower pipes and a turbo trix upper pipe. It also has a knOck o2 housing. Only things that aren't after market is the throttle body timing gear and turbo. I will probly get a fp red and go back to the dyno and tell them to run the **** out of it. !

The shop is right you won't see 400+ without bigger turbo or e85 but your injectors are fine for 450

I'd really like to see some dyno charts showing anyone making 450whp on pump gas on a stock turbo.

I agree.

I was at 400whp/400wtq with E85 but I only had upgraded IC, IC pipes, Air Filter and Full exhaust. Another friend had the same setup but with cams and made 415whp

Before E85 I was 336/325 on 91. I would think the OP would be close to 450 on E85

I think someone has made 450whp with a stock 9 turbo @ like 40psi on E85...

There are a handful of ppl to break into the 400whp mark with a 9 turbo on 93 without the head and intank manifold upgrades this guy is using.
The key is he's dyno'd on a dynojet... his numbers should be very close if not over 400whp 25-30psi. Dynojets are very consistent to eachother if calibrated correctly... so ~50hp down IMO is strange... but the OP never said how much boost it was running, but in addition too, it also seems like he is still running pretty rich.

To the OP, you're looking at a bigger turbo, when that happens.. take your car to Buschur Racing and get it tuned to its highest capability... My car is scheduled for May29th at BR... if my car makes anything close to 340-350whp on a MD.... you'll know why, and I won't have the cams, head, or intake manifold upgrades... but most of the other parts.

Even that spool looks weak, especially for a IX with Mivec. Everything I've had tuned at AMS or Buschur has peak torque around 3600.

For comparisons sake, I've got a LOT fewer mods and I put down 350whp on Buschur's MD on just 23psi on 100oct this spring. That intake, exhaust, mbc, O2 - stock cams, stock head, stock bottom end, stock injectors, stock turbo, etc. Full setup details here: http://boomn29.blogspot.com/p/2012-car-setup.html

I don't know about peak numbers, because all my experience over the past few years has been on racegas... But even back in 2008 I was seeing 320whp on a DJ on just intake/exhaust/fmic & 23psi peak.

I understand he's on a dynojet that's what I was on to. So if they are making 450 on pump gas then people should be making around 500 on E85. Again something I've never herd of on a stock Turbo no matter what upgrades.

Numbers are definitely low but every car is different. I made 375hp/355tq at 26psi with cams, i/c, licp, intake, o2 housing, and tbe. They probably gave you a super conservative tune and that is why you don't see the power you were expecting.

i am running the aem ams 1, the car is tuned on 25 psi it kinda tappers off around 24 or so in the higher rpms. and like i said i thought it was a little rich also around 10.6 to 11.2. thanks for everyones responses i probly wont go back i am kinda against the wall on it. they did do alot for me when i got the car it would constantly stall when coming up to stop signs and had crap gas milage. all the old dyno charts that i have from the car show around the same hp and tq. not too much difference. It came from the east cost and basically was built by turbo trix. seems like there shop has there stuff together so i am guessing that the turbo is not capable of much more power

Reread what I wrote, I believe the 450 number was on E85...... it was basically a full blown out build to see how much the stock9 turbo could make basically IIRC....

But 400whp dynojet is pretty typical out of a 9 turbo, completely within its capability.
When the OP gets a FP red and goes to Buschur... I'd bet he'll be making 450-500 MD#'s without a problem.... just make sure he gets the correct injectors and fuel pump

I am running 880 injectors now with a 255 walbro fuel pump. The tuner at ips said I would probly have to go to 1000cc injectors with different turbo to make that kind of power
