The head is stock but with Kelford 272 cams. Stock springs and retainers.

Yea, 8K seems to be fine with the Kelfords and stock springs. I don't make it a practice, but I've had it up to 8200 for an instant once at the end of the 1/8 mile. Won't be doing that again. Not sure at what rpm the valves start to bounce on the seats. Anybody know? Of course the rod bolts are a concern at that speed as well.

Last time I tried , Evoscan would not log IDC for some reason. I'll try again in the next few days.

I'm surprised 1200cc injectors would support that power on e85.

I have stock evo spring setup in my 35r car with 280s. makes power to 8000 and has revved to 9300 in the logs without issue.. I have always thought most are over springing the cams they are using.

I have no idea what the injector duty cycle is .. what i do know is that the car can run 11 flat if it needed to uptop.. so theres plenty of fuel left in those injectors.

not sure if hes using a aftermarket FPR and bumping fuel pressure or what.. but the car has plenty of fuel. the double pumper allows the 1200cc to work well also.

heres the boost curve off this car on the dyno:

20psi by 3900
25psi by 4000
30psi by 4300
36psi by 4500
