Seems like most guys post numbers set to the "VD" setting as opposed to the mustang dyno setting, which reads lower on the actual dyno, and Dynojet, which reads higher on the actual dyno. For reference, I have similar mods and have about 290tq 300hp VD numbers at about the same psi.
So is evoscan actually logging afr? If so, you'd have to have a wideband O2 sensor installed, and it would be wired into the ecu, or you'd have a serial cable coming from the gauge to plug into your laptop.

To have the gauge working is a closed system--wideband O2 installed and wires going to the gauge. To log, either the output from the gauge has to be wired to the ecu(which I'm personally not familiar with), or you have to have another wire from the gauge to go to to your computer. In my case, a serial connector connected to the wideband gauge and then a USB cable from it to my computer. Do a lot of reading and searching on this forum. There's a lot to learn.

Automatic setting.
Does anybody know what the automatic setting does to the calculations?
For instance does it introduce a factor (into the speed from rpm calculation) for the slip of the torque converter?
If so what is this factor?
Thanks.

That's common. Look at your log under the name you have for your boost (eg. Boost, MAP, Omni_Map, etc.). Then go in VD under file, options, columns and profile and next to boost put the name that is being used on your logs there. It needs to read exactly the same as your log heading for boost. That should work.
