i wouldn't say that's fair to count out 500whp though (although if you read further you'll see im in agreement with your thoughts). i overly smooth my graphs to get the lowest number usually that way there is less chance of interference.

but for example, let me show you that run with smoothing 1 to max. nothing is spiked or anything. The weight in the vehicle was 250lb + 175lb with stock size tires.

lets just say its a 480-490whp car.

at the end of the day i don't care as long as the customer is happy and the car drives good. power is nice and all, but there's more to just power numbers when tuning a car. i know you're in agreement with me on that one.

------

i just posted a comparison of his tune from 2011 to now overlayed as well. i used the lower of the 3 new pulls for the overlay.

again i appreciate your words though. I am in agreement with you that he should not put 500 in his sig though. Id put 489 in there unless its done differently on a real dyno.

-------

also to others, its spooling quicker because of the speed density & his other bolt on changes.

Yes I have a Map S1 Head that includes
Stock Valves
I payed extra for Map Beehive valve springs
•Clean / Hot Tank
•Visual Evaluation / Inspection
•Deck Resurface to High Performance RA Specs
•Proprietary MAP 5 Angle Radius Valve Job
•Final Assembly
•Outbound Shipping via Fedex Ground service

Yes I put 502whp on my sign because it did make that but I switched it to make everyone feel better. Doesnt matter to me because the car is a beast, only thing that bothers me is my stock transmission and transfer case ha ha. I will be doing a fuel pump mod and a Tscompusa 4" SD intake soon, so mabye Tom can get it to make a consistent 500 so I can put it back in my signature ha ha
Toms tune feels great! Thank you for all of your comments, even the 500hp one ha ha
On a side note I have to go basketball short shopping catch you guys later!

The intercooler fits perfect, seems to work well. It also fills the 8 bumper completely which is cool.

If you dont mind a tiny bit of lag do the s3, they will gain more over kelford/s2.

Also, you cant go wrong with Curt browns port work. he does very nice work.

Thanks Matt! ya, it has the boost curve that slowly goes up like yours. I don't think hes going to do e85 anytime soon.

Ok i updated the mod list with the stage 1 head. why no e85 also? technically its over 500hp (HP), but not whp unless backed up on dj. theres a good chance it might do it though. just keep it at 489.

I put your graph into evoscan vd and you're 500 in there on every run vs 489 in vd. evoscan increases the number though because its locked at a preset smoothing (i believe 3). if the runs smooth, it wont increase, but since its locked at a set smoothing it doesn't let the end user adjust it. it shouldn't be used to represent numbers over virtual dyno for this very reason. it is however the same code as vd, since he decompiled the vd lol.

this car was actually tuned on the MAF! i did not know until the owner later told me that he never removed the maf! i had a funny feeling something was weird though as i was tuning it. it did not respond like the average SD car i tune.

So this car is going to give us a nice before & after what gains you really can see going from a MAF to SD as long as weather/temp can be in the same temps / humidity as it was before.

If i had to guess im gonna say its gonna make another 10whp minimal.
