B) The 620whp was made @29psi

Good pump gas numbers on this turbo regardless!
Thanks man!

This car made 592WHP dynojet vd at 37psi at higher RPM. (peak power uptop)

You know from reading the first post i had no control over the boost curve. Once we drop boost i'll share another result with less boost and we will go from there. ill overlay the results also just for comparison for others.

this vehicle is still on a lot of stock ported parts. also just kelford 272 which leave a lot on the table as we both know.

I think the dyno dynamics was setup to read like a dynojet 100% yes. if not, id be surprised. They are on facebook, i will send them a message and find out. I will update with what they say.

Plugging the ports did the trick. Topping out right around 30 psi.

Good stuff. That is one hell of a vacuum/boost leak. If it was run off the intake manifold you would have known right away since the car probably wouldn't idle. However running off the compressor housing on SD you would never know.

haha right? Just getting use to SD... blew my intercooler pipe off the throttle body all the time on my old setup, car was useless. Blew it once on an uphill pull on SD, drove a mile like nothing was wrong.

Having email issues with getting Tom logs but should have updated numbers soon.

I got a chance to speak with Fastech today. Their dyno is calibrated to read exactly like the local dynojet near them. That is what i figured, but i just wanted to update the thread and let others know.

His laptop broke so after thats fixed i will tune it at a more sane boost level and share the end final result.

My buddy has dual 38mms w/ 15psi spring and he didn't have any issue with boost control at 20-25psi, I was wondering what went wrong.

I didn't have the wastegate holes plugged. Plugged them up and it's fine, hitting 30s. But now I'm having issues with the valve seals so the tuning is on hold.

Thinking of picking up a Twinscroll T4 6266 turbokit with a smaller .84 a/r housing. How much quicker will spool up be on a stock 2.0l with GSC s3's and bpu's? Will try to extract as much power on the my stock block before I build a 2.3lr Awesome numbers btw!!!

I am using the 6466 with ETS exhaust manifold with Motec. My car at 1.6 bar feels quicker than when I boost at 2.1 bar. I am using 44mm Tial wastegates.

Are my springs too soft that it would not allow me to boost properly at 2.1 bar ?

Thanks

The problem with this car was the owner did not have the other ports on the wastegates capped off i believe.

After he capped them off everything was ok. so the spring pressure was not the issue.

The only thing that would make the car feeler quicker with less boost then higher boost is the tune. maybe its going to lean? maybe its pulling timing? maybe it has a boost leak and you're just heating the air up and not getting anything into the engine efficiently?

Those are some things you can look into. i would keep the boost turned down for now based on what you just said.
