the less restriction/backpressure after the turbo, the quicker the spool, the more responsive the car will rev, and the easier it will hold boost.

The passes were done with the seats out of the car and the wheels/tires switched to Hoosier QTP's / rx7 wheels i believe. as mentioned in the first post.
Everything that was able to be removed quick from the interior of the car was taken out before visiting the track.

Nice, this is my buddy's car. Seen it in action and it's a beast for what it is, he is stationed in Germany now and I think this car is currently in storage...I know that 3100lbs is posted as the weight of the car but i'm pretty sure he weighed the car in at 2800lbs with the driver on that 10.7 if I recall?

hey TOM! i'm happy were the car sits right now! Military is moving me to Hawaii next months so i'll be on ****ty 91 octane... and whatever racegas they offer there... car will be going in build mode while I am in Hawaii so I'll def buy all the parts from you. Hopefully shipping doesn't rape me. I'll post videos and timeslips up pretty soon. I went to the track and I ran my first 10s... 1.56 60 ft on hoosier QTPs... 10.71 @ 129 mph... I stripped the car a bit and car weighed at 3100 lbs. Thanks for your awesome tuning skills and support brotha! My goal when I get back to MD is to have a 8 sec drag car on the stock ECU...
