It's the race version. It definitely something g u have to learn how to drive, but you can learn how to drive it just fine. It shifts great and can hold a ton of torque. I wouldn't buy a different clutch. Best clutch for the price.

Great job with the car guys...I know what this setup feels like and it is crazy addictive!!!
I did not have a good experience with my quartermaster(street version)...my car is a DD and that clutch was a PITA with the noise it makes. Imagine a dying whale under the hood.

Yea ppl ask me what is that dieing seal noise that make car makes lol. Just the clutch.
My buddy just installed his second quartermaster he had the old v-drive one and he just installed the street version he said its a lot better.

lol my ACT 6 puck is crying 24/7 ,hums, whines every engagement and wont hold launches anymore. I'm looking into getting another 6 puck ACT HD pp(it lasted 35k and countless rough launches and is basically a on off clutch but I love that) or this new quartermaster 8 leg street version...

Nick ran the car on the buschur dyno for stock appearing and put down the highest # on the dyno out of every car there.
There were issues with the dyno pulls not going high enough RPM and not showing the cars peak power on some cars, but this car officially put down the highest # on the screen at the end of the day at 602whp.
The below graph shows it -- do note the 3 port boost curve was wacky so there is some waves in the graph:
If anyone wants to see the AEM log we will gladly share it.
i will upload the video of the pull on dyno also when i get some more time to edit the video.

I think it spooled quicker because of it. the mod just lets the mivec gear move more from what i understand, so im sure it's helping by itself a good bit.

heres Nicks car on the dyno. this car was very loud. he has a cut out and it was open on the dyno. QM 8 leg was being a bastard also lol.
Doesn't help we tuned car in missouri for driveability and he moved back to ohio. we never got to touch it back up, so it might of been lean spiking on David on the dyno which makes it next to impossible to take off sometimes.
this car runs more boost on the street. if we put this on a dynojet and cranked the boost up i think this one is a 700~ car also.

I was very happy with the numbers the car put down. I can't wait to see what we will make with the boost up a bit more and more timing added.
As for the modded MIVEC gear mod. You do that to get the movement back. You lose a few degrees of movement with goin to a 4g64 block.
I ran a 11.3 at 132 my first pass ever with the car, and it was spinning like crazy off the line, second pass was a 13.x at 132 car bogged really bad I lowered the 2step and tire pressure and the third pass it ran a 12.0 at 131 spinning off the line again pretty bad. The car feels very fast. I have some learning to do on launching the car once I get that down it wi run alot better times!!
