Better late then never

We put S3's in this car and made about 500 @ 28-29psi on 91oct.

I never shared the graph yet or anything. I was going to wait until we do E85 here very soon.

The car had a fuel temp sensor go bad which is very rare, but it happens.

We did tune it on 91 with the sensor faulty using the GM IAT instead, but given the fact Mitsubishi & others literally uses fuel temp as an intake air temp source and there's a bunch of tables in the rom that use the fuel temp for the vehicle, we have halted tuning until the new temp sensor comes in.

I ordered it for him express mail, so we should have it within the next week or so. it is normally a 45 day wait part from Japan, but we got it shipped 10 days with EMS.

Hopefully ill have a nice new result for this car in the next week or so.

Here's a video he took going through the gears with his friends in the car.

30whp gain with 3-4lbs less boost going from kelford 272 to GSC S3 nice.

How much spool was lost?

Where is the fuel temp sensor located? Curious in case it ever were to go out.

If you had to guess what do you think his e85 numbers will be? 650? 750? How much boost does he intend to run?

spool loss is maybe about 200rpm more lag.

The fuel temp sensor is under the back seat in the middle section near the fuel pump system. pic below.

Over 700. I don't want to say a specific number though.

I don't approve of that timing map either if the engines really running that actual timing in it.

I've seem much worse then that also from high names in the evo tuning world.

EVO(boss) / Sa'ad is a really cool guy. I worked with him on making his stock block evo IX /w EF4 & S2 around 541whp and 389wtq on c16 with more in it.

The tuners where he is from, like to load cars with timing for sure. Hes from Saudi Arabia.

He has some really cool cars over there he owns.

Also that fuel temp sensor post I made. Let me just make something clear. The tank has to be dropped in order to replace it. Its above the tank, but its above the tank where the tank goes over the vehicles body. So it must be dropped in order to get to it.

I dont want this post to misinform anyone.
