I have been looking for the thread that compares the F1-i vs the BP ported F1-i. Any links to this would be appreciated.

Why is the spool time and peak torque so late on the 6766 compared to the dyno graph of stm's rs with 6766 on it?

We have never used one that is unported, so I don't have any dyno overlays. The runners are super ruff and anyone using one always gets them ported. It would be like using a Skunk 2 IM without porting it.

There are a couple ways to affect spool on the dyno:
-Pulls that are done in 3rd gear will have later spool then pulls done in 4th gear.
-Inputting a higher value for vehicle weight will load the Mustang Dyno harder. This makes the car spool faster because the Mustang Dyno is simulating pulling a heavier load. Keep in mind changing the weight will have no affect on HP output #'s.
-If you are using vehicle roll speed to calculate RPM, or have a slick that grows, it can throw the RPM output off a little.

In our case the pulls were done in 3rd gear, and we inputted the actual weight of 2600 lbs into the dyno. We could have done the pulls in 4th gear and it would have spooled much faster. Using the default weight of 3500 lbs (instead of 2600lbs we used) would have also loaded the dyno harder and quickened spool.

I know emery does all his tuning and dyno pulls in 3rd gear. I don't know what weight input is used tho. I was just curious because there was almost 1500 rpm difference.

The weight input I can almost guarantee they used was a standard Evo value of 3500. We used the actual weight of 2600 for our pulls which would make a noticeable difference in spool.

Did you guys also notice his pull stops at 8K, when that car revved to 9500. I have a feeling roll speed (which is how a dyno calculates RPM) might not have been setup perfectly.

Our Mustang Dyno is Factory Calibrated just like; Buschur's, STM's, and DynoTech's.

Here's some data we have collected in the passed year comparing our Dyno #'s to real world results.

-340 WHP in a Full weight Evo 9 went 11.4 @ 117 MPH last year.
-450 WHP on our Mustang Dyno in a Evo is good for a 10 second pass.
-600-650 WHP on our Mustang Dyno in a Evo is good for a 9 second pass.
-735 WHP Evo 8 we built and tuned last year went 9.5 @ 156 MPH.
-800 WHP in Jason's Evo 8 we built and tuned last year went 9.20 @ 161 MPH
-860 WHP in Joey's Evo 9 we built and tuned last year went 8.77 @ 168 MPH

Yes, the Super 99 is a 72 mm but I don't have any PTE 72mm data to compare it to, yet.

While I'm impressed by peak numbers I'll still happy I had the chance to buy the 6766 from Joey that was used for this comparison. I plan to push it farther than 47psi and I feel its still a very streetable turbo that I'm driving around on now and has huge kick to it on the street.

The 6766 is a great turbo, especially with the v-band exhaust housing like what you have.

Although the comparison testing stopped at 47 psi, we also pushed this turbo to around 55 PSI. On joeys 2.0L setup is stopped making power around 52-54 PSI.
