I have the 11 blade gtx3076 upgrade. On low boost (22psi) stock block I put down 429whp and 329tq on pump and stock wastegate actuator. New tuning numbers coming soon after my Fittronic setup, new wastegate and some other goodies.

Are you doing the FiTronic Flex Fuel kit?
What stock turbo did you have upgraded? the TD05HR-16G6-10.5T from the 2005 evo 8?

Yes I will be installing the flex fuel setup soon. I am waiting on some other parts to come in. My stock 9 turbo was upgraded since it does not work with the 9.8-10.5 evo 8 turbos.

Is that compressor wheel paired up with a TDO6HR turbine wheel? I was also curious when you hit full boost, sounds very promising!

What exactly are the options for upgrading the stock Evo 8.5/9 turbo? Ive seen a 20g upgrade, 30R upgrade, and i think a 25g upgrade as well, but i cant get any confirmation from them.
Just as you said there is a 20G , 30R, 25G, also there are 55/56x76mm compressor wheels and the EF4 60.27x83mm (AKA turbo labs 35R) the 35R should be coupled with the TD06HR turbine wheel thats 9 blade. the 11 blade works well and everyone uses it, but if your going that big in a stock frame you'll want as much turbine flow as you can get!

Also the 20G is pretty potent when combined with the right hot parts heres mine that made 500+hp

Thanx for all the info.
I read the thread u posted a link to.
Why did u go with a 8cm hotside tho? Why not stay with the bigger 10cm or stock 10.5? Wouldn't you have made a lot more?
Just curious cuz that's close to what I want... I'm trying to stay around the 550whp range while im on stock block, so I don't know which upgrade to do. I'd like to build something close to 58/58 or maybe 35R specs around 60/62.
What options are in between the 20g & 25g?
Is the GTX3076r Comp wheel in that range?
Maybe ur setup with the 10.5cm^² hotside would get me 550whp?
I'm saving up for a gen 2 gtx3576r kit, but until then, I just need more power then what I currently have. I sold my fully built 500/490 STi for a somewhat stock 390/381 Evo 8 and it's killing me haha

Did you ever successfully install the FiTronix Flex Fuel kit? I am really trying to do the same, I just wanted to know what ur experience has been like and if u made more power.

well the 10.5 housing you are referring to is the OEM reverse rotation twinscroll housing. I already had a T3 standard rotation kit, so I stick with a T3 Turbine Housing. The options were 8 and 10cm. In 10cm it probably could have made 550 at the same boost but would have added a decent amount of lag. Also being that these are single scroll 8/10cm housings in T3 form. They both flow kore than the stock frame 10.5 twinscroll will.

If you want 550whp on a stock block utilizing the OEM 10.5cm2 Turbine Housing, you’ll definitely need the 60x83mm compressor wheel and the TD06HR 9 blade turbine. Plus all the proper supporting mods, like cams, all the bolt ons, and enough fuel system to get there on E85. This turbo for size in PTE terms would be a 6058. And 58mm Td06HR turbine wheel is the biggest one that fits inside the stock frame 10.5 turbine housing.

there is a GTX3076 58mm compressor wheel that’ll fit in this application also, but I don’t believe it’ll make more power than the 60x83 wheel.

My car was actually down for a bit. I took the head off to replace my head gasket and install my L19s. I did get my FiTronic all installed in the car. I am just doing a battery relocate and throwing the head back on. I have been busy with other things in life so it is taking me a bit. Hopefully by the end of the month I will have this car put together.
