I contacted them through DSMTuners and was quoted $550 to convert an Evo IX turbo over to a generic FPRed (as shown above). I you wanted to buy the turbo already converted from them it was $950.

Here's their contact page:

How long ago did you get that quote? Just wondering because early 2014 I got a quote of $700 and I linked to this thread to make sure we were talking about the same turbo.

I traded PM' s with him back in Feb of this year, if you can get this turbo at that price, it would be pretty had to pass up.

The price I was quoted was to send mine stock ix turbo in and have it rebuilt so they got cheaper!

bump for some more turbo lab testimonials. so it looks like the comparable fp red equivalent here would be the gt(x)3076?? i'm pretty much looking for fp red characteristics without the fp red price...

No the gtx3076 is 4mm bigger then a fp red. They now make a ef3 spec turbo which has a 7 blade compressor wheel that is 56x76mm. 2mm bigger than a red.

good luck getting in contact with them. i tried getting an upgraded evo 9 chra and compressor cover from them for over 2 months now to swap out on my existing turbo lab 60x83 turbo(evo 8 chra and cover) mated to a td06h4r turbine. i even spoke to one of them over the phone and we had it all figured out. he was supposed to send a paypal invoice over so i can pay, fast forward two months and multiple emails/calls and nothing still. i understand they're busy and they put out a great product but whats the point if nobody can buy anything or the process takes so long you become discouraged and don't want to business with them anymore. sorry for the rant but its kind of frustrating when a company offers a product that you need and can't even order it due to horrible customer service(not picking up calls/not returning emails).

@cvnick did you manage to sort it out with them? I just sent a PTE6266 & Evo 9 for a rebuild. I was hoping it would be a quick turnaround.

Bumping an oldie but goodie...
What exactly are the options for upgrading the stock Evo 8 & 9 turbos? Ive seen a 20g upgrade, 30R upgrade, and i think a 25g upgrade for the 16GC, but i cant get any confirmation from them.
