Reduced weight has negative side affects on the top end of the track, it does need to be lighter than it is but we dont want to get it to light. If we finish off the aero as is, already flatbottomed, the general consensus is we'll go to a 7685 and methanol. Closing the front off and getting the profile lower will go further of course but we are also getting into a gearing issue and need to look at a different FD to get the car faster. Revving higher isnt necessarily what we are after either.

Nice! Thanks for sharing Aaron, I appreciate it. 210 will be crazy if you guys can get that done in the evo.

If I could ask, where did you purchase the strain gauge shift knob from. I have an evo dogbox but using a Microtech and am now researching how I can incorporate clutchless shifts with the Microtech.

Honestly for a car looking to top speeds over 200mph, I would just go W2A, get below ambient temps and you can close the lower portion of the bumper completely off. The only thing left open needed for cooling would be the upper portion of bumper near the nose. Id think you would pick up more power and aero by going W2A.

Also gut the car out and add weight where it needs to be ie low in the car. You guys can definitely reach your goals, but those are just my suggestions.

Does the PPG gearset have a different final drive than the 4.3 supplied with the kit?

Apples to Oranges, the 7175 can do things the 6870 isnt designed for.
