Spiking to 35psi low RPM and running it at high RPM are completely two different things. That's why you're making tq and less power up top, because your boost is falling off.

shaft speeds at 35psi at low RPM are nothing compared to high RPM and 35psi.

I do one over 500 just about every week.

It is fine. But so we can push it even harder, I'm gonna build him a short block so we can go all out and make a ton more torque and mid range power.

Thanks guys.

That is awesome! Glad its holding up. when you're ready to build the block let me know!

My 2.4L would run real good in your car. maybe something to think about. I'll give you money for your 4g63 core.

I'm switching to a 4g63 soon so i can run 45-50psi to redline.

How are you getting it to hold that much boost at higher rpm? My red tapers down to around 27ish psi up top. Good numbers.

The 3 port is set to give it more boost at high RPM where the tq peaks off.

No. New style FP turbos have the stainless steel housing also they've eliminated the wastegate actuator.

Have you got a intake fitted to the turbo?
