Evo 8 Fp red DBB 93 oct

Took my evo up to sean ivey for a tune recently and couldnt be happier with the numbers.

Mods are:
fp red 84mm dbb
o2 dump
hks hi power exhaust
ets 3.5 in intercooler
ets short route piping
ets mini battery
tial q bov
cosworth m2 272 cams
perrin aluminum crank pulley
pte 880cc injectors
coil on plug ignition
single wally 255
stock bottom end
hallman mbc
speed density 4 bar map sensor
arp head studs

Tuned on 93 octane. 25psi. Hoping to run high 10s low 11s

nice #'s out of a red on pump
i've got my red almost 2 years now and still loving it!

Very nice! I'm hoping for roughly the same curve. Kind of makes me wish I got a red.

457whp @25psi with mild cams, stock intake /exhaust mani and TB is awesome, especially if you're only giving up a few hundred rpms over stock. FP and their "dinky" stock turbine housing still makes a strong case for itself even on pump gas.

thanks guys and yea this turbo is great. i highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fast evo on the streets

Nice numbers! Was it really over 12.0 AFR or was the reading off somehow? That seems pretty lean for safety.
Any plans on taking it to the track?

that's deff off, my wideband is reading perfect afrs. and yes I'm planning to take it to the track sometime this month hoping to get a low 11!

That was probably the dyno tailpipe sniffer reading, which can be off. Rest assured Ivey wouldn't let a car leave his shop in an unsafe condition.

Wow! Great numbers. I've been contemplating a new turbo and this doesn't make saying no any easier.

A nice torque line from 4,200 to about 7,200 looks to be very fun. You have addressed all of the necessary power departments and this is proof that guys do not have to spend an arm and a leg (and even a foot) on aftermarket parts to make their EVOs fast.
