TSComptuned / Built 2.0L ETS Turbo kit /w FP HTA3582R GSC S2 E85 |674/500tq

This customer has been running around 530whp on 92oct now for over 2 years with no issues. We finally decided to put the car on E85 now to see what we could extract.

This is a evo 8 converted to mivec, so it has a 9 head and a 9 ECU.

This car has seen some serious abuse on the road course on 92oct on multiple occasions & gets the **** beat out of it on the interstate with high speed runs. This car has 285 wide tires on it.

mods are:

Evo 9 MIVEC engine:
2.0L 9.5:1 Eagle Rods / Wiseco HD Pistons
P&P Head 3 Angle Valve Grind
GSC S2 Cams
FIC 1450's
FP HTA3582R w/ .82 AR
Tial WG
ETS Manifold
Greddy Ti-C Exhaust
Custom Intake
Custom Coil on Plug
Tial Q BOV
Grimmspeed 3 port
Buschur Double Pumper
Magnus V5 intake manifold
FullBlown 70mm TB
ETS Short Route UICP
Tephra v7 SD /w ecuboost

Graph of (2) 3rd gear pulls:

We might throw it on a dynojet to show some 700+ numbers since VD doesn't want to give any.

Couple pics of car:

I have put 30k of hardcore abuse on this bad boy already. This is still the original engine build.

Some pics of the car.

Nice numbers. Good to see another eagle rod setup with some good torque.

Playing with fire using those rods. You are right at the stress point.
Good numbers though

Evo 9 head on evo 8 block is possible, for the record.

Lot of meat, lot of awesome power!

What are the IDC's?

It really comes down to detonation. With no detonation these rods will do just fine. I have tuned 800whp 2.0L evos with these rods on more then one occasion. I prefer manley turbo tuff I-beam rods though.

The same can be said for a really lightweight more fragile piston. If it never sees any detonation or severe lean issue or anything out of the normal operation for the engine, they will last as long as the heavy duty ones usually.

Ya you just machine the evo 8 block to accept the mivec oil tap. You can even use the existing threads of the oil pressure sensor and not tap the block also.

IDC was 91% using pulsewidth of 12.8 @ 8500RPM.

So just using that as a reference, the cars prob around 710-720WHP.

Most don't know this is basically the same as a FP Black except its not a stock frame.
