Professional awesome and not even head porting? I had no idea time attack was so budget friendly. Lots of room to grow on this setup. Why does it seem like this a new setup? What did u use to set 11 records out of 12 tracks?

Actually using two Felpro headgaskets that are copper sprayed sandwiched together. It was a trick we learned from another racer years ago and we've not blown a headgasket since then.

Budget gets used elsewhere! Eventually we'll get to head porting, but probably not until 2015.

This is how the old car looked...

But it was crashed at Road Atlanta in 2013.

So we're taking everything we learned from the last car and making this new car a monster! Check out the website for more details.

We heavily modified the stock oil pan. It has a kickout now and is baffled to control flow as much as possible. This cured loss of oil pressure in turns pretty well, but now struggles under braking, though not terrible so. We will go to dry sump eventually, but are waiting for GBE in Britain to finish their amazing setup.

No secret! We've never used the AMS pan, so I can't compare, but we've used this setup for over a year and have been more or less pleased. Can't wait to switch to dry sump though!

Any reason not to use the Magnus sump?

I've never used it, so I can't comment, but we don't like most belt driven dry sump systems for a lot of reasons.

We agree, the cams are left over from a previous 2.0L setup we did with a stock frame turbo. The cylinder head is letting us down now, but we are on a tight budget because of having to build a new car from scratch. Next year we hope to make some changes to the head and document the results!

Mind blown by the fact you're in Limited AWD... since that's the same class i'm in with roughly 300hp less hahah looks great though. Time for me to get a motor put together apparently
