pump fuel be e85 that much of a difference ?

Hey there guys !
I been scouring the net for half the day and was hoping you guys would be able to help me out :/
So I got my car retuned today, and got 252kw (337 hp) losing about 8 kws (11 hp) due to boost leakage. Before I had my car tuned, a Evo 8 with e85 stock turbo and stock cams on 25 pounds was doing exactly the same power as mine.
Mine you I'm running an fp red and after market intercooler plus kelford 272 cams.
QUESTION
I understand e85 is suppose to give 20-30 kw (26-40 hp) instantly but that's insane. Does it really make that much power ?

E85 makes more power because it has the octane level of around 110 octane. It allows for more boost, timing, etc to be used and it is less prone to knock. It also has much better cooling properites than regular gasoline.

Granted it's an Orange to your Apple, but my X with only hard pipes, CAI, pump, injectors, turbo back and a tune make 364 whp and 365 wtq on E85. I'm gonna say yes, it's a huge benefit.

I went from 287whp to 355 just from being tuned on e85 from 91 octane. e85 isn't 110 octane either, its more like 103 if I remember correctly.
