2.3L EF4 Evo IX - 530WHP ??
Weather was 100+F (Arizona).
This is an 2.3L Evo IX , Fully ported EF4 Turbo, 9:1 Compression, ported head, GSC S2 cams, ported IM, 70mm TB, Nisei Intercooler, spooling up cop. Stock MAF in place (no SD).
450LPH Walbro pump was starting to fail, it will run fine at idle, but at full boost it will go very lean. This was at 30psi boost because boost controller couldnt give more (already ordered a heavy duty spring), and pump going lean.
I was hoping for better spool and higher torque, do you guys have any ideas on what else I could do to better the spool? I know there is no boost graph, but with the torque curve you can get a very good idea. Once I get the boost controller I am hoping to take it to 35psi. I also have a 65 Ported TB that I am thinking of installing to maybe help the TQ Curve and possibly the spool.
Any ideas, recommendations?
Thanks

I am now thinking of going to speed density. I like to drive to the mountains and take the car to the snow, so I see extreme temperatures (from arizona to colorado), and I am concerned with driveability in general.
I am not sure I will gain a lot going from MAF to SD. What can you guys that transitioned from MAF to SD have to say? before and after power? etc?

can you comment further on this? I am also leaning towards SD but I just want to be confident before making the decision. Seems like Tom TSComp has had nothing but rave reviews which seems promising, but I also would like to get more input

My stock IX bov leaked around 26psi. I would spike to 30psi then fall to 25 by 7500rpm. I replaced my stock IX bov for a Cobb adjustable DV that I bought a member on here. I installed it how he ran it, so not much preload. I took the car out and did a pull and I spiked to 34psi. Now I don't recommend doing this but I'm just letting you know that my stock bov was leaking pretty bad and the Cobb DV made a huge difference
