Had a little down time with the car. I got a powder coated valve cover from evodan2004. He removed the baffling and tapped it for screws.

We got the 5 speed and the twin disk in. Put some miles on it before we hit the dyno with the haltech ps1k ecu. Durring tuning we found some issues. I had the original wally 450 fuel pump. This pump had a 70 psi relief. Quick math 43 base plus 30 psi of boost made a headache with tuning. Also we had trouble with boost control. Adding 1 % made it hit 32 psi. Found that the wastegate had the wrong amount of preset. Fix it and mad the car a bit easier to deal with. The car now has full flex fuel capabilities and makes 500. This coming year will see just how much the 7670 is capable of.

Did you ever get a chance to get the Skunk2 installed, and if yes, were you able to get a feel for before/after dyno numbers?

Also, interesting that you chewed up two 6-speeds. Our power levels and driving style sound similar, and I'm still doing fine on original 6-speed.

What clutch set up are you guys running for the 6 speed at your power levels?
