My rev limit is 8000 and I don't plan to go over that. If I have to ill just shift to 5th I guess.

Get a taller tire or up rev limit to finish in 4th. I have a 5spd trans. On stock tires I rev out at 122 @ 8000rpms well before the finish line. On 26" drag radials I rev out at 130 @ 8000rpms and top out right at the finish line.
