Maybe a mustang/virtual dyno

At the point I'm maxing out the turbo the wastegate is closed and the turbo is spinning to the moon. An 02 dump isn't going to help in this case. Lol

You don't always have to modify these cars to death for them to perform. Good parts selection ,tuning and planning are the key.
I agree, I'm just more curious than anything. Lol

I am building my car just like this one. Not crazy amounts of power but trying to keep it fun, spooling fast, quiet and reliable.

My transmission and T-Case will on the way to TRE tomorrow and I bought the same clutch. I am keeping the stock final drive, stock engine and I have a HTA Green. I will get the HTA Red once I go with a stroker build motor.

Keep up the good work

My goal was a fun and reliable streetcar I could track occasionally.

John@TRE knows his stuff!

Thanks man.

When 600whp+ from a ~2L 4 cylinder engine isn't considered "crazy" amounts of power...

C'mon Its only 190hp per cylinder

We live in a pretty wild day and an age with GTR's making 2500whp+, huge injectors that drive pretty well and incredible parts that put alot of street car's into supercar territory for acceleration and handling .

On 2.00 a gallon Ethanol.

What a time to be alive.

FYI, Photobucket is now charging $39.99 a month to enable 3rd party image hosting. BS.

But now all the pics in this thread are gone.

For the price of an FP BB Red, would it be better to go with a PTA6466?

Turbo selection depends on your goals. An FP Red with MHI housing spools close to the stock turbo but makes hundreds more if you want it. Quick spool makes for a fun street car you can do anything with. The transmission/clutch will also be happier shifting below 8000 compared to the 6466 (8500-9500)
A 6466 isn't going to do much below 5000-5500 on a 2.0. A big turbo is great for making power but light to light or even getting out in traffic isn't great.

The sound is also better then going to a t3 manifold IMO
