Evo IX - FP red, bolt ons, 272s, stock bottom end, 93/e85 dyno results

Figured I'd post up my results. Just got back from tuner.

29psi car made 441/382 on 93 and 475/408 on e85.

All performance mods:
-Buschur Style Intake Pipe w/ Amsoil Filter
-TurboSmart Dual Port BOV
-Forced Performance Race Manifold
-Forced Performance Red BB Turbo (Ported)
-Forced Performance 18psi Wastegate
-XS Power O2 dump
-AMS FMIC
-Muse Short Route UICP
-AMS LICP
-Muse Mini Battery Tray
-Kelford 272 Cams
-SpoolinUP COP Kit
-AEM 320LPH Fuel Pump w/ STM Rewire Kit
-1200cc Precision Injectors
-ARP Head Studs
-HKS Downpipe
-TurboXS Catback w/ Test Pipe

Kasey Harris out of Hickory, NC tuned it. Has tuned my car twice now along with some minor work and has been awesome as well as reasonable. Super cool dude and definitely recommend him to anyone in the area! He just opened up his on shop called Dyno Time Speed Works. I think they have a facebook page.

Was the setup out of fuel, or you just didn't want to push for more boost and power up top?

I wanted to keep it as safe as possible. It kept making more torque every time.. but IDC is at 85% or so.

Here's a video in case yall want to hear it

Manual boost controller, or ECU controlled boost?

Hmm. You (your tuner) should be able to hold more boost up top and lessen the downward taper in the torque curve after 6k (on E85). Unless that 18psi actuator just won't do it.

But if you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Not knocking your setup by any means, but there is more power to be had with this setup.

Bumping this only to ask what plugs you guys recommend for my current power level. 98% of the time use e85. Should I stick with the stock ILFR7H? Gapped at .022?

My virtual dyno is reading seems like 1/2 of my power that it made on vd in another laptop. When my car was tuned same street. Is there a scaling i gotta do?

With my gtx3076r, close to the same specs as a Red, with a 10.5 hotisde Im right around where you are at. I would agree that there is more power to be had however, we have to make the bottom end stay happy. I choose not to push mine over 400 torque until its built. Im assuming you are doing the same.

Wanted to update this thread. I know a few of you were commenting on how much was left in this setup. My tuner fixed a few boost leaks and threw it back on the dyno. This time much better #s at lower boost levels.

Originally car made 441/382 on 93 and 475/408 on e85.. both at 29psi.

Now, the car made 455/379 on 93 and 506/402 on e85.. now at 27psi!

These are dynojet #s.
