Stock Block JDL T3 6266 GSC S3 E54 Fuel - 646WHP | 139.66

I have been tuning and helping Morgan now for almost 3 years with his EVO IX RS.
During these 3 years, We have both made his evo evolve into a very powerful machine, while still keeping the factory stock internal engine components intact. Oil pan still on factory seal. Stock everything in the short block

This vehicle has over 105,000 original miles on the engine.

Rewind back to when Morgan was on the stock entire LONG BLOCK with the same turbo setup and going 10.769 @ 136.17. Yes, STOCK LONG BLOCK, meaning stock cams and all. Fast forward to now.

We upgraded the stock cams with some GSC S3 and extracted a little more power from the car. We could extract much much more power, however our goal is not to hurt the engine, and our main objective is to keep the rods from bending, so torque control is a must.

With all that in mind, We were not able to really benefit a whole lot with the cams, however once the engine has one of our built engines, we will for sure pump way over 700WHP out of the build with ease.

We have been making stock internal Evo's fast for a very long time now with a very low failure rate. Our fastest car on stock block, which is known to be the highest WHP stock block evo 8/9 in the world owned & piloted by Scott Frazho at the time, trapped 146.14 with 3000lb+ race weight.

However if asked, I would not recommend this be done unless you understand the consequences that can occur.

My personal recommendations is to keep your torque within 380wtq whenever possible, and not to exceed 400wtq. Sometimes we have customers who are willing to take the chance and we go for it like this car.

The tires were not behaving well, and just blowing off, so the ET is not great, but the MPH shows the true power the vehicle has available.

Temp: 66F
DA of track: 5000ft
Fuel: E54 (Arizona)

Mods on the vehicle are as follows:
EVO IX RS
Stock block (105,000 miles)
GSC S3 cams
JDL T3 kit with PTE6266 JB 0.82 A/R hotside
FIC 1450cc injectors
Custom Double pumper
Grimmspeed 3 port
Muse IC piping
Buschur FMIC
Synapse BOV
ARP standard head studs
Extremepsi 4" intake
3" TBE
Tephra v7 Speed density /w ecuboost

Happy with the results!! Need to learn how to launch these slicks better once we build the motor haha.

Definitely hoping for 150 traps or higher once we build the bottom end!!

Car will be a beast with a built engine no doubt. All but 140MPH in 1/4 mile already is super fast as it is!

You are one of the elite fast stock block guys now

Wow the 60ft is worse than my small tire Honda :O. With good traction and a 1.5 second 60ft the car should have no problem running low low 10's (if not quicker)

It has MPH I think for a 9.99999999999 but would require a driver mod of course and as you said a 1.5 60ft or better at minimal.

I cant really say much. I only went 10.26's with 148, so I'm worse then he is & this cars much harder to drive then mine was.

Smaller displacement and large turbos really require a hell of a driver behind the wheel to keep the car going down the track.

Very true, many people underestimate the difficulty in making a big turbo small displacement car run consistently fast or fail to realise this when spec'ing a build. A 600whp car with a 4000rpm powerband is a lot easier and often more fun to drive than a 800+whp, 2000 rpm powerband monster.
