Just got back from vacation yesterday. As a follow up, replacement sensor fixed boost gauge. It now reads -16 at idle and up to -22 when off throttle and in gear. I'm worried that I'll have to buy replacement sensors often since I see that sensors have been going out often. If it costs $75 each time, I'll probably just replace this unit to a mechanical gauge when this sensor takes a dump.

Went to Fontana drags November 5 and burnt up what's left of my stock clutch running 3 times. Best 60-ft time was 1.797.
I'm #7008. Other is a GTR.
I beat Scat Pack.
Also beat stock 2006 Corvette. I let off gas when I saw 8000 rpm from clutch slipping, which was 50 feet before end of track. Doh!
Barely made it home with clutch only holding 60 mph in any gear
Just got Exedy Twin Disk installed and had Evo 8 3rd and 4th gears installed while tranny was out.
Also, I broke down Sunday and bought S2 and 5041 springs...
Install and retune in January (planned).

I did my ARP different than others. I used screw driver to push paper towels down thread to soak up oil and then used the lube that came with kit. I hand tightened and removed to add more. Then i tightened to 50, 60, 70, and then 80 ft-lbs to each one. I used lube on bottom twice and bottom part of top half where washer and nut will lock. I will let it sit 24 hours and retorque 80 ft-lbs again before reinstalling the valve cover.
Here's the HLA PR installed.

I also bought this valve spring micrometer to check each of my valve spring clearance to make sure I have 1.55". I'll probably put together something to compress each spring to measure thepressure each speing exerts. This way, I can match up the springs to the valve gaps.
Valve spring height micrometer.
GSC 5041 valve springs and titanium retainers

I retorqued my ARP head studs at 80 ft-lbs again. Some actually turned a tiny bit! Interesting!
I'll check again tomorrow to see it bolts are fully stretched. I'm actually surprised.
Maybe enough oil was in thread to mess things up a bit?

Congrats on making the power. Judging by the parts I have a feeling we were tuned by the same person here in SoCal. I made similar numbers on a BBK Lite, GSC S1, 3" RRE Stealth turbo back, Mil-Spec 100 cell cat, AEM intake, AEM 320 fuel pump, and RC1200 injectors.
