Oh damn that's good for an FP Green on pump gas. Very nice numbers! Is the HTZ really that large? Any plans for an E85 tune?

From what I researched the new HTZ compressor flows close/the same as the original FP Red with no loss in spool from the original green. I'm glad I had FP upgrade the compressor when I had it rebuilt.

E85 coming in the Spring/Summer 2018. I think we only have E70 winter blend available in Illinois right now. I have to go and test a batch to find out.

Solid numbers. E85 will be a nice jump in power. Curious what spring you’re running on the TiAL QR?

Your spool definitely looks in line with the old green which is really a plus. Did you get the Xona rotor bb housing also?

So safe to assume the new Red will flow more than the old one while keeping the same spool as the old red? Gosh I hope so.

The QR has the white spring in it and a dedicated 1/4 vacuum line going to it from the intake manifold. It works flawlessly and sounds great!

The exhaust is super quiet for an Evo. All you hear is the turbo spool and then the car just pulls. It's a true joy to drive.

Journal bearing with the aero nut option. It was converted/rebuilt from a stock cover 73HTA. Pictures in my build thread.

The FP red looks nice to, but I've wanted to try out the green for years now. The green has a great powerband for the street on a stock 2.0L.

When I build the engine I think I will change my setup to an FP black MHI and 2.3L stroker.

Thanks for the insight on the HTZ Green. I keep going back and forth between this and the red and I am still having a hard time deciding. Your E85 results will be my deciding factor. I'll check out your build thread.

Its spooling pretty well for single scroll but an mhi housing green be at peak at under 4000 rpm.

Thing spools a little better than red and makes power like red.

Beautiful car & great mods, I like the power/torque that you've achieved. Nice job to Tom as well.
