Figured it out thanks for the help. One of the 3 prints on the cam angle sensor was bent up and wasn’t connecting into the sensor correctly.

Never mind reinstalled sensor after straightening it out and still nothing, have no idea what to do now

I’m almost willing to put money in that you may have the crank sensor installed incorrectly. I did the same thing and thought it was correct but it wasn’t. I’d check that if you haven’t.

As far as I can tell it is correctly in what do you mean by installing it correctly. It is torqued to the right spec and defiantly on the crank plate

You can also have the sensor flipped too.

Can’t remember if it will or not. But I had the sensor flipped on mine, so that’s how I know it’s possible.

if your sensor is flipped it wouldn’t trigger...

Here is a picture of my crank plate and crank sensor I don’t see anything wrong with it sensor and plate are both the right way as I can see

timing belt got installed by a buddy who says he’s timed a 2.4 evo before. It’s the timing belt off of the galant I’m pretty sure I got the part number from a shop that did a previous build on a 2.4. I am thinking my timing has to be off the one mark on the balancing shaft doesn’t line up with the timing mark on the crank plate.
