Evolution IX HP guess

I am presently struggling with exactly what mods to obtain for my car. I have looked at various tuning websites and seen many results from ecu reflashes to vishnu's chipping method.

How much HP approximately will I gain from these bolt-on mods?

1. Megan Racing TBE w/ downpipe
2. Injen intake with upper and lower IC piping + filter
3. Walbro 255 fuel pump
4. Megan 02 housing
5. (I've read that BOV's are no good and mostly for ricers but I am looking into purchasing one, but currently don't which would be the best one.)
6. A ttp-engineering tune or 4WS tune (most likely a ttp-engineering tune as they are in the neighborhood)

Thank you for any quick responses and please excuse me if any of my typing was noobish to anyone on these forums.

*I am aiming for at least a low 12 sec 1/4 mile as I currently have a 2006 GTO*
Thank you for all replies.

I think ur stock boost is at 20.5psi, if i was about to set it, then it will most likely be around 24-25.
if its at those levels (24-25), then my guess u will be around 340-350 in both. oodluck and let us know what u end up doing.

BadBoy818_818 Apr 1, 2009 11:17 AM

i think about 360hp

RapidSpark Apr 1, 2009 11:52 AM

Will do

Also looking into a good boost controller as well and forgot to add it to the list. I prefer an electronic boost controller to regulate psi over the manual and ill be boosting 23 psi since 24-25 is preferred. Mostly daily driving unless those V-Tecs want to meet me at the red light where ill get out of my car and flip there cars with my bare hands before racing them. 350hp seems to be the average as of right now.

Responses greatly appreciated!{thumbup}

for your BOV ive heard that vent to air is not good for evos so youd have to do a recirculating one but my .02 would be a APS twin vent heard that those are good! lol

good luck

unfortunatly my friend, its like a drug, at first 350 will be sweet then u will end up feeling like ur driving a vtech..lol it starts wearing off, its a nice start tho:)
goodluck

i had the same mods at you but i had an intercooler and at 24psi i made 349whp.

you should def be at least 350 with a good tune. i made 340 with catback intake+piping and boost controller. on pump. its fun but like someone said you always want more!!

On an Evo 9, you would be in the 350-360whp range.
