VWJeff's, EVO9, BR built, 727 whp video

We just finished up VWJeff's EVO9.

We had built this car for him about 3 years ago. It's run a best of 9.8 at 148 mph in full street trim. That means full exhaust, full interior, A/C, power steering, sun roof, all sound deadening, sound system, all speakers, woofer etc., etc.

Jeff moved to Vegas last year and asked if I'd keep his car for him here until he decided his new path for it and got settled. Him and I have turned into good friends so I stored the car for him.

The decision was made to go with our Forward Facing turbo kit and Jeff wanted to run the PTE 6765 turbo on it.

As a refresher, the car was previously on the FP67 Ptrim turbo, our standard header and VP Import fuel and made a best of 650'ish whp. (exact numbers in the video)

While the car was here we decided to freshen up the engine, Vegas is a long way from Ohio. The head was pulled and checked out, the rods/pistons were removed and we just did a fresh set of JE's/rings/rod bearing and new aluminum rods.

We also added the FP 5r cams over the old Cosworth M3's and our BR fabricated intake manifold.

Last on the list of changes was the fuel, rather than running the $25 per gallon VP Import I suggested we try regular E85 as it's available in Vegas too.

The car layed down 727 whp on the E85 at 42 psi of boost with the new combination.

Here are the complete details of the build:

BR 2 liter, 10:1, aluminum rods
BR Stage 3 head
FP 5R cams
BR FF turbo kit
PTE6765 with .82 a/r turbine
BR coil on plug ignition
BR lightweight battery kit
BR 3" turboback exhaust
BR Race FMIC
BR upper and lower i/c pipes
AEM EMS S1
BR dual stage boost controller
ID2000 cc injectors
BR double pumper with stock single feed line, stock regulator
BR fuel rail
Exedy Triple clutch
BR fabricated intake manifold
BR 65 mm throttle body
Bushwhacker Stage 1 transmission

Here's a video, enjoy:

we all are waiting!!

Thanks guys. It makes some killer power for sure. I'd have liked to seen it with a little less lag but Jeff wanted to run the turbo and make as much power up top as possible. It should easily run over 150 mph.

Excellent results as always Dave, great job!
