will this get me over the 500whp mark?

i recently sold my MR and im ready to start my second Evo project, (dont actually have a car yet) my MR had 405WHP, im looking to at least hit 500 with this one (dynojet)

so ill give u the quick run down with the important info

all bolt ons (TBE, LICP, UICP, FMIC)
ported exhaust manifold
BBK Full ported turbo
Kelford 272 cams, valcesprings, retainers
injectors (not sure what size i should use for this setup, maybe 1250cc or 1400?)
Fuel pump (not sure if a walbro 255 is enough, maybe i need a double pumper?)
E85 tune

so what do u guys think. will bolt ons, cams, BBK full, get me over 500whp on e85?

thanks guys!

Yes, be carefully your drivetrain at that powa.

1250cc injectors and a double pumper should get you there. Just watch the torque and you'll be good.

I think a DBB FP Red would be better for this setup. Either way, I'd build the bottom end to play it safe, instead of spending a ton on new parts and running the risk of destroying everything with a high torque setup. The BBK full will probably get there, but it'll be maxed out.

you'll have to wring out the bbk full, and still may not quite get you there. shouldn't have any prob hitting 480 whp though. if you want a solid 500 whp, think green or ef3. jb hta greens are still available - proven street turbo at a great price point. a single walbro alone wont get you there safely; a buschur doublr pumper or the new walbro 465 are better choices. also, oil control starts becoming a very important factor at 500 whp. a kiggly hla and buschur pan are good insurance.

Solid information right there.

He could run 2 walbro inline with a hobb switch. That would save you a couple hundred dollars.

is a buschur double pumper a direct install like the walbro 255 is?

Its not a drop-in install, but anything that can support 500 whp on E85 effectively will not be a simple drop-in. The Buschur double pumper is about as easy as it gets outside of a Walbro 255 though.

so you think a HTA green or FP red would get me to 500 easier?

A Red can more easily provide 500 whp, but it comes at a much higher cost ($2500) and slightly more narrow powerband (assuming the redline stays no higher than 8000 rpm). A ball bearing HTA Red is $2500 whereas a journal bearing HTA Green is $1700.

1200cc injectors and new walbro e85 pump

I could help you with a great deal on an Fp red journal bearing brand new still in box. I have one on my car now stock block making 462 whp on buschur Dyno on 93 oct.
