Trevor's 714whp 6266 E85 2.0L

Trevor Holland of Holland Performance in Spokane has been a friend of the shop for years. He also happens to have one of the fastest AWD auto DSM's in the country that we have helped support.

Recently, Trevor was able to get a deal on a pristine 2003 VIII with a blown motor. After purchasing parts from us, Trevor put together a 2.0L and a Holland Performance turbo kit with a PTE 6266.

Mod list as I know it (Mike or Trevor hit me up and I will edit it)-

HP 2.0L standard rod
9:1 Wiseco 1400 HD
Cosworth M3s
HP ported head
BC valvesprings
HP turbo kit with PTE 6266 (0.82 T3 single scroll)
ETS 4.0" FMIC with custom piping
Bosch 2000cc injectors
Full Blown double pumper (255 and AEM 340)
HP 3" exhaust with Magnaflow chambered muffler
Magnus V5 intake manifold
Omnipower 4 bar
ER SD Tune

The 6266 wants to overrun the 44mm WG above 7250 so on pumpgas the powerband started to look like a Honda. It was knock free at 29psi thanks in part to the ETS 4.5" intercooler. I didnt spend too much time on the pumpgas tune since we feel it needs either a second gate or a larger single to keep that where we want it on 92.

Above 650whp it was obvious that the muffler was killing power so Trevor will add a boost activated cutout at some point. He says 714whp will be plenty for awhile though ;)

a chambered muffler!?!? any idea of the model?

I cant wait to see the muffler vs cut out compare @ that power level.

Nice work.

Aaron,

Do you have any examples of well done boost-activated cut outs on Evos?

What psi seems to be decent? 10, 20?

Nice work.

Pretty sure its magnaflow or flowmaster. My car lost 60whp going from the aero turbine 4" (more or less straight pipe) to the 12909 Magnaflow 3.5" at 39psi.

16psi is where we normally set them up. The biggest thing is the power level for a given muffler. The off center baffled 3.5" I run on my car is a restriction above 660whp (26psi) so really I could let it open later but if I am making 16psi it means its on its way to being BA.

Is the 340 pump on a hobb switch? Also how low do u take your fuel level down with the 92 octane before u are able to switch to e85

Trevor had told me 4.5" but I changed it to 4.0"

Almost out, fuel light on plus 10 miles is what I normally recommend.
