Built 2.0L ETS t4 twinscroll 6266 S2 cams Skunk2 94oct

This is the car in the video c0ke posted in his thread. This is his buddy. They are both running the same quality 94octane fuel from Canada.

After going from a modded walbro, to a walbro 450, we kept running out of fuel. He then switched to a double pumper and everything was good to go.
I edited this thread to keep it simple so the latest results are below.

Mod list is:

Built 2.0 stock compression (wiseco 1400hd/MAP Rods)
GSC S2 - supertech springs/retainers
ETS twin scroll T4 6266 ball bearing 1.15AR Turbo kit
precision 1000cc injectors
Buschur Double Pumper
Skunk2 ported intake manifold
Skunk2 68mm throttle body
ETS 3.5" FMIC
ETS intercooler pipes
Tial Q BOV
speed density - omni 4 bar - gm IAT
spoolinup COP
Quartermaster 8 leg street clutch
Tephra v7 SD /w mbc

At 31-32psi the car produced almost 600whp.

For reliability and safety purposes I completed the tune at 30psi and that is where we kept the final tune boost pressure at:

Thanks for posting this Tom! I'm happy with the results so far. I should have known the walbro 255 was going to be the limiting factor. As soon as I figure out what I'm going to do for a fuel pump and replace this stupid mini battery I'm hoping we can hit the goal of 600. Thanks to Tom for being patient and doing a great job.

Nice job TOM as usual. Are you guys going to do injectors also when the pump is up graded. I'm running 1650s(E85) which I think is going to limit my whp. I see your on 94oct which is different but if your going to do pumps why not injectors for future changes( turbo, cams or even E85).

Unfortunately in Canada E85 is non existent. If I remember correctly, Tom said the injectors should be just fine for my goal.

seems the S2 and 1.15 a/r is a good combo tom ;) s3 would make more but this seems to spool pretty good.

Has the t4 twin scroll helped with spool at all? I'm thinking of going with a t4 twin scroll but with a 1.0 hotside on a 6466.

Glad you're happy! once we get more fuel we should be able to reach our goal hopefully safely :)

Ya the s3 will make more, but they will lag it a lot downlow because its only a 2.0L

Twinscroll usually always helps spool. I might be able to compare another cars spool with this one if i can find something with S2's which im sure i can on a 2L.

If you want Mike i can overlay the two if you are interested in seeing the data.

el.guerrero Sep 5, 2013 10:17 AM

Interested on the overlay too.{thumbup}

Interested in OVERLAY PLZ tom!

This is pretty much the setup I want to run. How well would this kit do same mods on CA91? Or is it just hopeless making decent power on this garbage fuel?
