EVO IX - Stock engine with S362 SXE / WSRD

Tuned by John at Whalen Speed at R&D. Kept the torque pretty low for the stock rods. This is my girlfriends weekend car w/ AC.

Pump E85
Stock ECU w/ SD
Sheepy FF manifold
Borg Warner S362 SXE
FIC 1650s
Stock engine (still factory head bolts)
FP4R cams
Stock Intake/TB

We will probably push it further after valvetrain upgrades later on in the year.

Very nice flat torque curve. The Evo looks very clean.

I made similar power and graph when I was running the SS FP Black .

That's great power for only 27psi.

That’s pretty impressive spool for 2.0 , I’m sure the mivec helps some. What’s the flow rating of that turbo, flow more or less them pte 6466? Thanks

nice power. I'm curious about being able to keep ac with the FF kit. any other manifolds allow for keeping ac?

Thank you! I think the torque will keep the car alive indefinitely.

I was pretty surprised with what it made at that boost. The power really wanted to keep climbing but better safe than sorry... especially at the beginning of the season

Yeah, the MIVEC definitely helps a bit. Borg Warner rates the turbo for 76lb/min and 750HP.

I'm pretty sure most forward facing kits are designed to work around the factory AC compressor. You just have to buy a half sized AC condensor kit. We ordered ours from evolvedcomponents@gmail.com.

Is this with the 68mm turbine wheel or larger one? Also, was the dyno run in 3rd or 4th gear.

68mm turbine exducer with .82 AR vband housing. All dyno pulls were in 3rd gear.

Thanks and nice results. Just got my S362SXE setup going, which is why I asked.

Impressive numbers buddy.
Is this the same turbo S362 FMW ?
Which oil catch can are you using ? want to see how you have set it up.

Thank you. I'm not too familiar with the FMW series turbos.

It's a basic vented can (allstar performance) with two -6AN lines off the valve cover using STM's adapter fittings.

They are very similar turbos, but FMW is slightly different aero on compressor and had smaller compressor cover. Also, turbine has two versions with cupped blades vs non cupped blares affecting spool. With that said they are very similar.
