Local CC will take them back, take them a copy of your receipt and tell them they never worked correctly, they will take care of you.

These speakers are only sold online through CC.

So your suggestion will not work, thanks, but they still suck.

Buy from crutchfield 30 no questions return

Hmmm, weird. I've never had troubles taking things back to CC for a full refund.

Model number from the sony speakers? Lol, i could literally refund you right now without a problem. Anything can be resolved at the store level, take it to the store, because the model number is still in our system regardless. CC wouldn't fight over a measly $100.

Its not circuits fault for a blown speaker, yes they should have returned it IF it was within their 30day return policy.

How long did you wait before trying to return them? Its well beyond 30 days now...

Well they cant tell you the product they sell is crap, neither can circuit, thats just not ethical...

They give a selection for those who dont want to spend the money on a decent speaker. Thats why they sell Jensen.... Its afforadable for just about anyone...

The attempted return was within 30 days about 17 days in fact.

All CC could do with a bad speaker is take it back, they were not willing to do that.
This is why I was warning everyone, CC online will not honor their warranty.

I am not an audio snob, if it works it is fine with me. I have found that price and performance are only loosely related. You can spend alot more and get nothing for your money.

Everyone seems to have an opinion on what is the best speaker, but nobody has any real data. If that was not the case I could have made a more informed decision.

So I say again that CC online sucks, that is a warning to people that might want to do bussiness with them.

I am not expecting a solution to this from the members here, your suggestions are obivious and I have already tried them.

CC sucks, you have been warned.

I just did business with CC and they took back any of my returns with no Questions Asked... I ordered some online only stuff and went to a local store, where they accepted the product with no trouble and no hassling.

Go to a local store and see what they have to say about it.

On the email from CC, it says "based on your last email, we are not going to be able to accept these speakers at all..." What did you say in that last email?

Cheerleader, Rah Rah !!!

I asked them to replace the speakers, they would not commit to that.

CC sucks, sorry you gave them any money, not a mistake I will make again.

Did you ask an online rep or go to a local store to return the speakers? Because, like everyone has been trying to tell you, you should have gone to a Circuit City store to return it. They have this huge Sign that describes that they will take any product back within 30 days.

I don't see the policy on their website, so I am guessing you can only do this at a store, which I did and they took the product with no questions asked.

What many people like yourself seem to have missed is the fact that I did not ask any of you for help or advice, on this issue.

My goal was to warn people that CC did not honor their warranty.

The nearest CC is 180 mile round trip, that is why I used their online store and why I didn't just run down to one of their stores. Plus the fact that the stores do not carry these speakers, so I cound not get a replacement from them.

So unless you are wiling to send Gas money, bug off.

CC online has crap sevice,

Enough said,
