I have been lookign around to Finaly get an Alarm I know what i want (the Viper 791xv) but I want to buy from a somewhat trustworthy store, I have been ripped off before and it really sux, when you pay a couple hundred dollars for something and it never comes. So Any venders here that sell alarms, because i can't find you. Or does anyone know of a somewhat trust worthy website that i can get it from that won't totaly Rape me with the price, and that I will get my alarm from. Just wondering. I don't usualy do alarms because i find them more of a hassel than helpful, but with Evos being stolen soo much i guess I can annoy the theif before he takes my car.

Not to Hijack the thrad but since it's on topic......does anyone know the name of the alarm that comes with a keychain that displays exactly where the damage/intruder etc.....with an audible sound and display as it is taking place?

I saw them when i got my parts from commando but i'm sure just about anyone makes them.

 

If you dont' mind driving to SNJ, Imagine Audio did an awesome job on mine and a few Evo. Innovative might be a bit far from NJ, about 5 hrs or so

 

This one Does, there are several. Mostly from Directed Electronics. you have the Viper 791xv and a couple other vipers, there are some cliffords, and I think 3 Pythons that all have the Transponder technology. But the 791xv is the easiest to find and is priced most economicly.

The Python Equal to the Viper 791xv is the python 891xp
and the Clifford Equal is the Matrix 3.5

All three are pretty much the same alarm.

BTW i don't need it installed, I have my own shop. I don't want anyone to know where the wires are. Heh a car thief will have to Tow my car to take it. LOL I dealt with some pros before.

Ok I am hijacking back my thread, Not sure if you can do that but i am. So I got a Question For anyone who knows the answer to this, I have a turbo timer already in my car, So basicly I want to know if the Alarm will auto arm after the timer goes off. Or should I just stop using the Turbo Timer and use the Alarms Turbo Timer. I bought the turbo timer with no intention of buying an alarm. But now Alot of cars have been stolen around me so I have invested in an alarm. But now i fear a confilict with my existing timer. So Anyone with any info on this please tell me. Post it, don't pm it to me this way everyone else can know too. pretty sure this is a common question because I went through the 74 search results that poped up.
