PSP install with factory radio.

I have a 2005 evo viii with the Infinity stereo package and was just wondering what I would need to hook my PSP up to the OEM head unit? I'm going on a long road trip so this will come in handy!

Can I use this...13 pin din to rca adapter... from the back of the head unit

rca to headphone jack

Or do I need the Ipod adapter?

FM modulators have very poor sound quality. Hard wire it so you don't lose any sound clarity. I was looking for a plug/harness like that for my 03. During the process of searching I tried many RF or FM modulators and I have returned them all.

Is the 6 pin DIN RCA connector acting as a output or input?

That kenwood plug is made to plug into a kenwood deck, where you would plug a Kennwood cd changer into. So if a kenwood CD changer would work on a stock EVO deck, then that would work.

Something like this MIGHT work, if you could get an Pioneer IP-Bus to RCA adapter, just like the one you have in that first picture instead of kenwood. But I'm not 100% it would work. We have done it before, but that was a chrysler to alpine.

I would recommend just doing a hard wire FM mod, or just get a new deck hehe.
