viper 5900

Hi... I am about to install viper 5900 sometime next week and i found out it only comes with shock sensor... Is this good enough? or should I add tilt sensor and glass break sensor? kinda confusing with sensor things... any help would be appreciated...

i've looked into these vipers. the window break sensor i think is kinda gay. it uses a microphone that picks up the frequency. and tilt... that might be a good idea. i personally like microwave for when ppl come near it but that could get annoying

thanks for help....

I don't know about window break sensor... doesn't shock sensor covers windows as well?? u know, when person break window it creates shock.. I don't know... haha... yea, microwave thing would be really good option but could be annoying...

i'm doing the same, and adding the micro sensor. anyone have a good idea where to place it? i had it behind the shifter in my STi.

and to the op, do you have a wiring diagram? i want to make sure i'm doing it right, its been a while since i last installed one.

I have a Viper system with shock sensor gps etc and they work really well. Plus the remote that tells you what if anything is going to your car. I have a window sensor just in case and of course a kill switch so even if they break into my car they are not driving of in it but then again it's garaged kept....... When I first got the car I would see alot of civics with strange people around my apartment which made me get a viper then I decided spring is coming and in Texas storms that past almost alway have hail in them so i got a new place.

my car was stolen a year ago they never opened the doors just busted a window and gone......
The shock sensor for the glass in my book is a must have!
