this looks very interesting and easy, could you get a better quality pic of the hvac controls? i like the looks of this but it seems the cutting around the controls dont look so clean to me. how much did this whole setup cost you? not including the pioneer unit.

the part for the radio panel is $60 including shipping on JAPANPARTS.com part#180-042-001 and the lower cuddy is $55 at 500whp.com the rest i have laying around the house. so thats about $300 dollar less if your going with the Orbital Prestige. let me say yes its really not that clean coz i was in a rush to finish it. need to be somewhere at that time. but it really doesn't look bad at all because its black you can't hardly notice it. but im still trying to finish it if i have the time. and just like i said you need to be careful on cutting the face. its not that hard really.

it would be nice if you had a belt sander and sanded the edges nice and uniform.

I did this and it's easy!!thanks for the idea!

the only thing i did different is I sandwich the face on the radio relocation, its held on by the 2 screws, I took off my 2din and just hooked it up from there.

hahah pic, i have to take it apart if i want to show it.I was just saying that you dont have to mount the controler on the cubby. I think the orbital kit does it the same way.

well thats the whole reason of doing it this way.... none of us can get our hands on a orbital without paying an arm and a leg for the kit thats why we decided on trying it this way......
