Subwoofer spacer?

I bought a subwoofer that in theory should be too deep for the stock SSL box, by like 5/16"

Do they make subwoofer spacer/rings? I searched and found some for 10"/12" but none for 8"

I can't be the only one who has done this?

What kind of material would you want the spacer to be made out of?

Thanks, I actually saw that site listed in a different thread on evom for speaker spacers but didn't think to email them. I'll try that.

MDF? Plastic? I'm too impatient to try to make one myself.

edesignaudio is about the same price and it's custom made to your order.

Didn't the driver come with a mounting template? If you don't have one, you should be able to download it from JL's site.
